What We Are About
The Faces Project is exploring how the human face communicates emotions like anger, fear, happiness, and worry in drawings, animations, robotics, and anatomy. We are trying to understand how the human face communicates emotion, why it's universally recognizable, and the efforts to capture it in film and images, animation, and animatronics.
Traveling through the uncanny valley, we are on a quest to understand the human face and its ability to communicate emotion. We are 3rd-6th graders at Baden Academy Charter School working on a research fellowship, seeking to enlighten and be enlightened by artists, animators, programmers, roboticists, special educators, and psychologists. |
