Preparing to Siege the Future
Six students spent a gorgeous spring afternoon being introduced to vectors and scalars as they built three catapult models, calculated target accuracy with virtual trebuchets, and competed to see which of their designs maximized distance.
These amazing young engineers recalled Newton’s three laws and used their afternoon to learn more about the rules of the universe (physics) and the language with which it is written (math).
