The Kitty Whisperers, 6th graders Miriam and Jadyn, began a campaign a year ago to help the humane societies humanely respond to the crisis of feral and free roaming cats. They began by making videos at the Beaver County Humane Society to encourage adoptions. Their videos were noticed by Faith at the Fluffy Jean Fund who invited them to film a documentary about the Colony Cat Program of Beaver County. The girls worked online to prepare the script then arrived for a day of filming at three different sites. Camera work and editing were handled by 7th grade brother Nick. The girls premiered their documentary at the Duquesne University Law Conference on Companion Animals and the Law.
